The European Utilities Telecom Council is getting ready for its annual conference that will be held in the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 26 – 29 October 2010. So should you!
The European Utility Telecom Conference is the largest gathering of telecommunications and technology executives from Europe’s utilities and their technology partners.
Four reasons to join us in London
Your budget constraints in mind
With rates unchanged in 3 years and amazing room prices, despite taking the conference to an expensive city, EUTC contributes to facilitating your travelling to London. Offering practical solutions for you and your company, EUTC10 is the event you can not afford to miss.
Be challenged with a new way thinking about smart Grids
We are looking beyond the vision of the smart grids, that has been debated many times over. With real life examples which will illustrate what is good and not so good about the costs, benefits and technology solutions which it is believed will be needed to support smart networks, we welcome your involvement; the session will challenge your views and experience of smart grids.
It’s all about networking
Sessions offer a dynamic approach, allowing great interaction between attendees and speakers. We also offer plenty of occasions to network with your peers during our informal breakfasts, coffee breaks and lunches and a prestigious gala dinner old England style.
Meet a provider that has a product that is the answer to your needs, at the exhibition connected to the conference.
All networking breaks will take place in the exhibition areas, allowing you to take time to tour the exhibition and meet the different technology representatives.

Who should Attend?
The conference is designed to meet the needs of senior European executives from utilities, pipelines and other critical infrastructure companies as well as their technology and financial partners who have responsibilities for managing all internal telecom networks as well as developing new telecom ventures. Government regulators looking for innovative ways to promote economic development by encouraging utility telecom ventures should also attend.
Networking opportunities
Previous attendees have named networking opportunities as a major benefit of the EUTC Conference. Because Utilities Telecommunications and IT professionals find difficult to identify their counterparts within other companies, and because their role is quite unique within their own company, the opportunity to finally meet with hundreds of other practitioners is priceless. Sessions offer a dynamic approach, allowing great interaction between attendees and speakers. The programme also dedicates time for networking breaks and lunches, for participants to make new contacts, and continue discussing with peers.
About EUTC…
Technology is rapidly changing the role of telecommunications in Europe’s electric, gas and water utilities, energy companies, and other critical infrastructure companies. Many are using their vast experience in building and managing sophisticated telecommunications networks to enter Europe’s new competitive telecoms markets. Many are also facing issues introducing new wireless communications systems and managing internal telecoms businesses in a shared services environment. To meet this need, the Utilities Telecommunications Council created a uniquely European program that builds on UTC’s 60 years of experience, existing strengths and services. UTC’s programs in Europe is led by Europeans, designed for Europeans, and is uniquely European in focus. To better serve the needs of its European members, EUTC has opened an office in Brussels in January 2007.
